This was one of my first experiences creating custom PBR materials in a scene from scratch. You can see some of the stylized placeholders still in the scene (tree leaves). My contributions specific to this image were environment design, layout and composition, lighting, and modeling and texturing 3D assets in Blender. I used a combination of hand painted textures and made various procedural Blender materials based on tutorials. I also used a variety of assets licensed from different online marketplaces, as well as props and characters created by artists specifically for my game, Deadvale.
